Bison Coffee processes your personal data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the French Data Protection Act. This page explains what we collect and why.

What we collect
Account and orders: name, email, phone, billing and collection or delivery details, order history. Legal basis: performance of the contract. Trade applications: business name, address, phone, contact person. Legal basis: steps prior to a contract. Contact form and “Notify me” requests: your email and message. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in answering you. Payments: handled by Stripe. We receive only a payment reference and status, never your card number. Technical data: we use Vercel Analytics, which counts page views without cookies and without identifying you.
Who receives it
Only the service providers needed to run the shop, acting on our instructions: Vercel (website hosting, United States, EU standard contractual clauses), Railway (shop back end, United States, standard contractual clauses), Supabase (database and images, European Union), Stripe (payments, EU and United States, standard contractual clauses) and Resend (transactional email). We never sell your data.
How long we keep it
Order and invoice data: 10 years, as required by French accounting law. Account data: until you delete your account or after 3 years of inactivity. Contact and notify-me messages: 1 year. Technical logs: 12 months.
Your rights
You can access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your data, object to or restrict its processing, and set instructions for after your death. Write to info@bison-coffee.com; we answer within one month. You may also lodge a complaint with the CNIL (cnil.fr).
Security
Connections are encrypted (HTTPS). Passwords are stored hashed. Access to customer data is limited to Bison Coffee staff who need it to fulfil your order.
